Natural Education

Started into what looks to be another winner from Wendell Berry today: Imagination in Place.

Read this quote that might summarize nicely all that I am currently pursuing in my own thinking about education, even as I step out of being in a particular place educating…

“Hovering over nearly everything I have written is the question of how a human economy might be conducted with reverence, and therefore with due respect and kindness toward everything involved.  This, if it ever happens, will be the maturation of American culture.”  Wendell Berry, Imagination in Place, p. 15

Reverence, leading to respect and kindness.  The only missing word might be implied: humility.
