Tending a Garden of Virtue

If you are, then you may be interested to check back in from time to time here as I blog on the experience of taking my faculty through Vigen’s book. We have chosen up teams of three and have assigned each team a chapter, after discussing chapter 1 together. Each team will present their ideas they gleaned from reading their chapter on how to inculcate such thinking and manner of teaching as is found in Guorian’s text into our own classrooms. I think it will be full of fun and creativity. At the heart of it, we are committed to the notion that stories teach virtue way better than sermons. And away we go…
