I have recently blogged on the issue of obedience over on my general blog ruminating on Bishop Ryle’s great text, “The Duties of Parents.” It is on my mind a lot these days both due to having four boys of my own and due to my position as head of a school. I hope my thoughts help in a positive way rather than falling prey to pointless whining, but our culture needs the wisdom and virtue that men such as Bishop Ryle enjoin us to pursue.
